In what you could call a long overdue update, we have refreshed our channel database and added many new channels. Along with the numerous channel additions, we have squashed several reported bugs and made countless improvements to our platform to increase performance and utility.

We are still tweaking and working with numerous suggestions submitted by FreeTube users and will now be able to push out more frequent updates.

The Television Spy received a makeover in celebration of coming out of BETA, you can read more about it in their development blog.

We had a brief lapse in downtime, and unfortunately experienced some technical difficulties that required us to revert to an older version of the news, but everything is back to normal and we will be releasing an update shortly.

Happy New Year

A little over a month's worth of updates rolled out today, call it an early Christmas gift if you will. Things you can expect this update - a complete renewal of the channels database, and the addition of several new channels, including several seasonal channels to view over the holidays.

• Florida ICE! Exhibit - Take a look at the ICE! Exhibit at the Gaylord Palm's Resort inFlorida USA,which features more then two million pounds of hand carvedice sculptures and amusements.

• Los Angeles Grove- Take a peer at the decorations at the Grove, a shopping complex indowntown Los Angeles, California, USA that features a decoratedChristmas tree and other decorations.

• Hungary Mall Exhibit- Follow the moving webcam as it pans across a popular Shopping Mall inBudapest, Hungary and the various decorations set up across theshopping mall.

• Trafalgar Square, UK  - Sneak a peek at Trafalgar Square in the UK, and watch busy pedestrians getting last minute shopping done.

• Rockefeller Christmas Tree - Finally return back to the annual Rockefeller Christmas Tree locatedin downtown New York City, overlooking the decorated Christmas treeexhibit at the Rockfeller Center.
